2026 Scholarship Application Questions and Criteria
The DLIFGC Scholarship is a higher education scholarship that is available to all students of Italian descent who live and attend a high school in Galveston County, and who are graduating in the Spring of 2026. Students who attend public school, homeschool, private school, or alternative high school are eligible to apply for this scholarship. FIVE scholarships will be awarded in 2026 for $1,000.00 each.
Scholarship Application
Your response to the questions will be scored based on your thoroughness of answering the questions, usage of proper grammar and punctuation, and your answers being concise and easy to understand. Your short essay will also be scored on having unity and staying within the 100 to 200 words limit.

You and your school Guidance Office will be notified via email if you are awarded the scholarship.
The Dickinson Little Italy Festival of Galveston County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which will occur on March 14, 2026, on the grounds of Dickinson City Hall. Please join us for the festivities in celebrating our family heritage.
